英文漢體字，是透過解構漢字結構，並與英文字母之間的象形聯想，重新組合新的「英文漢字」。而解構漢字的想法，緣自於中文輸入法「無蝦米輸入法」，在無蝦米的世界裡，漢字的組成，是將漢字拆分成不同筆劃部首，再以形、音、義與英文字母加以聯想組合，而我取自於「形」，再加上我個人的觀察與聯想，將漢字解構成不同英文漢字部首，並以此製作出100個以英文漢字呈現的英文名字，取名為「百名帖」，而這一百個名字源自於美國1984年最受歡迎的名字，也是我出生的那一年。

English Sinogram is a creation I stumbled upon in 2014. Each Chinese character I create represents an English name. By deconstructing the structure of Chinese characters and associating them with the shapes of English letters, I reassemble them into new “English Sinograms." The idea of deconstructing Chinese characters originates from the Chinese input method “Boshiamy™." In the world of Boshiamy™, the composition of Chinese characters involves breaking them down into different strokes and radicals, then associating and combining them with English letters based on shape, sound. Drawing from the “shape" aspect and adding my personal observations and associations, I create new English Sinograms.

我的目標是建構一種新的英文漢字書寫方式，使用最具漢字代表特徵的「楷體」作為創作標的；楷體是我個人在教育與成長過程中所最具代表的字體，是一種體制與文化背景，我想透過體制來創作出一個讓人印象深刻的作品。

My goal is to construct a new way of writing English using Chinese characters, specifically using “Regular Script" (楷體) as the basis for my creations. Regular Script is the font most representative of my education and growth, symbolizing a system and cultural background. I aim to use this system to create a work that leaves a lasting impression.
